ITINERARY
Day 1 – Cochin International Airport – Athirapally
Pick up from Athirapally airport/railway station. Check into the hotel at Athirapally. Set snugly in Thrissur district Athirapally is home to many of Kerala’s gushing rivers and lazy streams. Also set here, amidst God’s own country are waterfalls, some of which are 80 feet tall that appear to cascade from the heavens and settle here on Earth to make some of the best picnic spots. Visit Athirappally waterfalls. Relax in the resort in evening. Overnight stay in Athirappally.
Day 2 – Vazhachal waterfalls Day Tour
Not very far from the Athirapally Waterfalls, Vazhachal is the best example of nature’s ability to create beauty from aggression. The area around the falls has over the years become a safe haven for flowers, birds and small animals that perfectly co-exist with their human visitors. A walk to Vazhachal is no less than a stairway to paradise.
Day 3 Peringalkutu and Sholayar Dams Day Tour
Standing tall in one of the many beautiful forests of Athirapally are the Peringalkutu and Sholayar Dams. These dams not only generate precious electricity for the state, they are a testament of human will and technological expertise that prevails in Kerala.
Day 4 – Athirapally– Cochin International Airport Departure
Drop at Airport/Railway station. Back to Home with sweet memories of God’s own country
