Thekkady, located on the banks of the river periyar in the district of Idukki in the high ranges, is one of the most important hill stations in Kerala. Wild Life Sanctuary

The Periyar wild life sanctuary, spread across 777 square kilometers and the boat cruise in the Periyar Lake are the most important attractions in Thekkady.
